John Armstrong gave Robertson a military land grant in 1784 for 5,756 acres. Armstrong died intestate with no heirs other than his brothers Martin in Tennessee, & Thomas in Ulster, Ireland. Matthew Brooks was named admr. of the estate. At his death, Armstrong owed William Lewis money, and Lewis sued the estate to recover. The land was sold to multiple parties including Campbell for the debt. Robertson sued to recover his land. Cause of Action; scire facias, fi fa, Venditioni exponas.
