Notes / Description:

The suit was brought in order to collect an amount due on a note given by J. McCoy to Everett & D. [?] Broyles. McCoy intended to buy one-half interest in a saw & grist mill property. Everett and Raulston were absent when a judge ordered the mill property to be sold. Bill Hackney bought it. Complainants charged that Duncan (their agent) grossly abused their faith and confidence in him, causing them to lose the mill. Much explanatory testimony starting on p. 33. See ET 71
