Dodson agreed to sell Johnson 20 acres of land, but Dodson had no right to do so as he didn't have title to the land. Parties had various other dealings and, when Johnson sued Dodson for not delivering title to the land, he also claimed Dodson owed him money for building work & for merchandise. Dodson claimed Johnson owed him money as well. Dodson's horses attached as part of suit & he claimed this was inappropriately done on the Sabbath. Add. Def.: John D. A.
