Roberts owned 3 small contiguous tracts in Wears Cove. He & wife being old & having imbecile daughter to support, conveyed them to son George who promised to support family out of farm's proceeds. Son Daniel, having returned from Bradley County, wanted to take George's place so they did so. Then Daniel decided to exchange the land for land owned by Franklin Bryant. Soon Daniel decided to go west & didn't hold up his end of bargain; hired Nicholas Smith who sold land to George Rimel. Hence this suit.
