Additional plaintiffs: Hannah Butler, S. B. Spurlock and Samuel Black. Additional defendant: S. D. Rowan. Adam Butler died intestate in April 1867. Norwood claimed that Butler's estate was $5000 in debt. In 1860 the deceased executed a deed of trust to Samuel Black. Deed was executed to secure creditors Faulkner and Rowan. Black sold other personal property from the deed and the proceeds were paid to Asa Faulkner.
