Mary C. Reynolds, complainant, was the sister of John W. Hoyl [Hoyle], who died intestate and without issue in 1864. He left a widow Sue M. Hoyl [now Robinson], plus four brothers and three sisters. The question was who was Hoyl's true heir? Reynolds's next friend was A. P. Wofford. Other defendants: Jake Hosteter and John Dillard. Also involved was Foley Vaughn who developed some of Hoyl's land (Vaughn's Addition).
