Jacob Baker died owning land on little Tennessee River known as Island Farm, leaving widow Ann Baker & 6 children including Louisa, who was previously married (when she was 14) to Daniel Shrader of Virginia & after divorcing him, married Mordecai. Soon after Jacob's death, Howard Henry (who married Louisa's sister) bought the Farm. Bentons sued asking that Henry (now dec) be enjoined from paying (& Stephens' estate from receiving) purchase price for the 1/7 of the farm claimed by the Bentons.
