Plaintiff had deposited $5000 into the Bank of Oliver Springs who executed a certificate of deposit, which was endorsed by the defendants who became liable to the plaintiff for the same. The Bank of Oliver Springs failed and was being liquidated. The reciever made payments on said certificate from time to time but $1500 remained due, which defendants had refused to pay, therefore the Peoples Bank sued. 2 folders.
