Conway was "charged with carrying a pistol." "His arrest took place in a restaurant about a half block from his residence, the restaurant being between his sister in laws house and his residence." He loaned a trunk to his sister-in-law. One the night he was arrested, he went to his sister-in-law's house to pick up his wife. His sister-in-law told him she found a gun in the trunk and gave it back to him. He stopped at the restaurant, where he was arrested, on his way home.
