Boone and Senter are manager and secretary of the Medina Fruit Growers Association. On 7/8/1919 they sold a car load of tomatoes to the North American Fruit Exchange at $1.72 per crate. Said car contained 1000 crates. They received a check for the shipment in the amount of $1713.60. The check was deposited at the Bank of Medina. In two or three days the bank notified them that there were not enough funds to cover the check and that the check would not be paid.
