Notes / Description:

Brown charged with multiple counts. He was charged with breaking and entering the home of Roy Bush with the intent to steal goods, wares, money and personal property. Then he was charged with intent to rape Sarah Bush. Last he was charged with assaulting Sarah Bush with a knife in attempt to murder her. Court documents claim that a new trial should be granted because Sarah Bush was not reared in this country and did not have much experience with colored people and could have mistaken who assaulted her.
